The school’ s seventh season in Puerto Lumbreras draws to an end

The mayoress of Puerto Lumbreras (Region of Murcia), María Ángeles Túnez, visited the social sporting football school for integration which is run in collaboration with the Real Madrid Foundation and the “la Caixa” Foundation in the municipality. In the final stretch of this seventh season, the participating children have received with joy the visit of the delegation led by the mayoress together with Silvia Montes-Jovellar, director of the National Area of the Real Madrid Foundation, and Lourdes Toribio, delegate in Murcia and the Valencian Community of the “la Caixa” Foundation.

The mayoress highlighted “the excellent work that the Foundation is doing in Puerto Lumbreras, promoting integration and helping young people in our city, teaching them to play football, but also values such as companionship, effort and self-improvement. I would like to thank the “la Caixa” Foundation for its fundamental support for this project. Once again, it shows that Real Madrid is not only one of the best clubs in the world in the sporting sphere, but also in the social area”.

The social sporting football school, which has been held weekly at the municipal football pitch with all health and safety protocols in place, has around twenty participants aged between 5 and 17, who are enjoying the education in values through sport that characterises the Real Madrid Foundation.
